5 — PURPOSE OF FLIGHTINITY
FLIGHTINITY is a digital service intended in particular for people taking an air journey.
It allows the traveler to prepare personal messages for loved ones before departure.
These messages may in particular include:
text;
photographs;
videos;
audio files;
PDF documents;
other compatible attachments.
The messages are stored in a secure environment.
When the situation provided for by the service arises, they may be made accessible to the designated recipients only after application of the FLIGHTINITY review procedure.
6 — NO AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
The operation of FLIGHTINITY is based on one essential principle:
NO MESSAGE IS TRANSMITTED AUTOMATICALLY.
The expiry of a period, the scheduled arrival time of a flight, or the absence of validation of “I have arrived safely” do not automatically trigger the release of messages.
Any possible release requires:
a verification procedure;
human review;
the intervention of an authorized administrator;
enhanced authentication;
final manual validation.
7 — ADMINISTRATION AND TRANSMISSION SECURITY
Sensitive administrative operations may in particular require:
individual authentication;
a secure code;
multi-factor authentication or MFA;
express validation.
The main operations are recorded in an audit log with enhanced integrity.
This mechanism helps ensure the traceability of the operations carried out.
8 — AUDIT LOG
Sensitive operations may in particular be logged, including:
date;
time;
operation;
status change;
administrative intervention;
authorization;
refusal;
viewing;
download;
transfer.
The log is designed so that it cannot be modified or deleted from the normal user and administration interfaces.

The loved one is not required to create a standard user account with a password.

The loved one may access only the messages personally intended for them and whose release has been authorized.
In the absence of authorization, the portal may display:
“No message available”
10 — FLIGHT-RELATED DATA
FLIGHTINITY may use the service:
FlightAware
in order to obtain certain flight-related information.
This information may in particular concern:
airline;
flight number;
times;
delay;
departure;
arrival;
flight status;
route.
These data are provided for information purposes only.
Official information communicated by the airline, the airport, or the competent authorities remains authoritative.
11 — MAPPING
Certain mapping features of FLIGHTINITY may use:
OpenStreetMap
and
Leaflet
The mapping displays provided are for informational purposes.
They do not constitute an official traveler geolocation system.
12 — PAYMENT BY BANK CARD
Payments made on FLIGHTINITY.COM are processed by a:
SECURE BANK CARD PAYMENT CENTER.
FLIGHTINITY does not directly store the full bank card number.
The information required for payment authorization is processed within the secure environment of the payment center.
13 — FLIGHTINITY CREDITS
FLIGHTINITY may offer credits enabling the use of certain features.
Credits may in particular be:
purchased;
offered;
granted as part of a bonus;
granted as part of a promotion;
granted by a partner.
The pricing and commercial conditions are specified in the General Terms and Conditions of Sale of FLIGHTINITY.COM.
14 — FLIGHTINITY EMAILS
FLIGHTINITY may send various emails necessary for the operation of the service, in particular:
welcome;
account verification;
password reset;
invitation to a loved one;
access authorization;
OTP code;
payment receipt;
administrative alert;
flight sharing;
security notification.
Official FLIGHTINITY emails include the visual identity and may in particular display the official FLIGHTINITY logo.
15 — EMAIL DELIVERY
The technical delivery of emails may in particular be provided by:

Final receipt also depends on the email provider used by the recipient.
An email may in particular be:
delayed;
filtered;
placed in junk mail;
rejected;
blocked for a reason beyond FLIGHTINITY’s control.
16 — FLIGHTINITY TRADEMARK
The FLIGHTINITY trademark, as well as the property rights attached to it, belong to one or more natural persons.
The marketing of the service by ECO EVENT does not constitute a transfer of ownership of the trademark.
17 — INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The name FLIGHTINITY, the trademark, the logo, the flightinity.com domain, the graphic identity, the interfaces, databases, software, texts, illustrations, audiovisual elements, and other elements specific to the service are protected by the applicable intellectual property provisions.
Any unauthorized reproduction, representation, extraction, or use is prohibited.
Use of FLIGHTINITY does not grant the user any ownership rights over the elements making up the service.
18 — OWNERSHIP OF USER CONTENT
The messages, photographs, videos, audio files, PDFs, and other content uploaded by the traveler remain the property of their lawful owner.
Their upload to FLIGHTINITY does not transfer any ownership rights to ECO EVENT.
The user only authorizes FLIGHTINITY to carry out the technical processing necessary for:
storage;
protection;
display;
download;
document generation;
making content available to authorized recipients.
19 — PERSONAL DATA
FLIGHTINITY processes the personal data necessary for its operation.
This information may in particular concern:
Travelers
identity;
email address;
telephone;
travel information;
history;
messages;
credits and purchases;
connection logs.
Loved ones
identity;
email address;
telephone where provided;
OTP authentication;
consultations;
downloads;
transfers;
read confirmations.
Technical operation
technical logs;

flight-related information.
20 — DATA PROTECTION
Processing is carried out in accordance with the applicable regulations relating to the protection of personal data.

FLIGHTINITY may offer a feature called:
CHAT ENVOL FLIGHTINITY
The CHAT ENVOL allows the traveler in particular:
to ask questions;
to obtain assistance regarding FLIGHTINITY;
to receive certain information;
to report a difficulty;
to be supported during their journey.
26 — ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
The CHAT ENVOL may use an artificial intelligence system.
The artificial intelligence may in particular:
analyze a request;
propose a response;
translate certain communications;
recognize certain questions;
detect certain priority wording.
The user is informed when interacting with artificial intelligence in accordance with the applicable rules.
27 — NO DIRECT HUMAN CHAT
The CHAT ENVOL does not constitute a permanent live human chat service.
Where the intervention of a team member is necessary, the user may in particular receive the message:
“The Flightinity team will contact you in order to provide you with an appropriate response. The Flightinity team remains at your service.”
28 — ULTIMATE EMERGENCY
Certain words or wording detected in the CHAT ENVOL may trigger an internal alert called:
“ULTIMATE EMERGENCY”
This alert is intended to draw the attention of an authorized administrator.
It does not constitute an automatic alert sent to public emergency services.
29 — FLIGHTINITY IS NOT AN EMERGENCY SERVICE
FLIGHTINITY is not:
a medical service;
an emergency response service;
a police service;
a gendarmerie service;
an airline;
an air traffic control service;
an official geolocation system;
an official aviation safety service.
In the event of a real emergency, the competent services must be contacted directly.
30 — SERVICE AVAILABILITY
FLIGHTINITY uses reasonable means to keep its service accessible.
Interruptions may nevertheless occur in particular due to:
maintenance;
an update;
a technical incident;
a network outage;
a security incident;
the unavailability of a provider;
an event of force majeure.
31 — LIABILITY
FLIGHTINITY cannot be held liable for the air event itself, in particular:
delay;
cancellation;
diversion;
accident;
incident;
airport closure;
decision made by an airline.
FLIGHTINITY does not guarantee the permanent availability of external services used for flight data, mapping, email, or other technical functions.
Nothing in this Legal Notice limits liability where the law prohibits such a limitation.
32 — SECURITY
FLIGHTINITY implements various security measures, which may in particular include:
authentication;
OTP;
MFA;
access control;
logging;
restriction of rights;
encryption where appropriate;
monitoring of sensitive events;
anti-abuse mechanisms.
However, no IT system can be guaranteed to be entirely free of risk.
33 — EXTERNAL LINKS
FLIGHTINITY.COM may contain links to services or websites operated by third parties.
ECO EVENT does not necessarily control these services and cannot be responsible for their content or independent practices.
